Today DJ Emma is one of the biggest names in the Japanese house scene and a formidable Dj on the international circuit. Emma’s production outfit, 'MALAWI ROCKS' (DJs Emma and Taro Kawauchi) have been releasing tracks and mixes since 1995 and the ‘Emma House’ mixtape series is currently in its 11th volume and enjoying national chart success.

Emma often tours bringing his pioneering house sound to many of the world’s cities and is frequently performing in Japan’s major clubs. It was his residency at Gold in Tokyo that enabled Emma to get his sound and style heard and the rest is history. He now plays regularly at Yellow and Womb, two of Japan’s most prolific venues…………..
